Boothe Memorial Park seeks volunteers to work with 2nd and 5th grade students, helping them learn through hands-on activities about blacksmithing in early America.
Sessions are Tuesdays and Fridays in the fall and spring. Volunteers learn how to demonstrate the use of authentic early American blacksmith tools, then teach small groups of elementary students in a kid-friendly atmosphere.
