Stratford Public Schools will have a new second in command next year.
Linda Gejda was chosen by the Board of Education to become the new assistant superintendent of schools. Gejda is currently the assistant superintendent at Newtown Public Schools. Current superintendent Janet Robinson was the the schools chief in Newtown before moving to Stratford in June 2013.
Gejda will take over for interim assistant superintendent Arlene Gottersman. Gejda officially starts her job on July 1.
